Testimonials

“I have worked with Dr Julie Mansuy since 2023. Julie first worked with us on our ‘Searching for a Supervisor’ project at the University of Warwick, and we are working with Julie again in our next project ‘Mitigation and Adjustment for Doctoral Education’. Dr Mansuy has provided essential project support by supporting human ethics applications, compiling and formatting project outputs (including the final project report and policy briefings), and drafting presentation slides and workshop materials. Julie brings a calm professionalism and high levels of initiative to the work she undertakes. I would characterise Julie’s approach as efficient and careful with detail. I would highly recommend Julie to others who are seeking a research support professional to assist them with their projects.”

“As a research assistant, Julie Mansuy exceeded my expectations. She completed her investigation earlier than I expected and gave me the opportunity for addressing a larger geographical area. Although we did not have a chance to meet face to face, the remote working arrangement did not detract from the fact that Julie was very efficient and meticulous in her assessment.

Julie conducted a comprehensive analysis of existing research on (1) legal discrimination against women in land inheritance, and (2) state-led policies and regulations preventing female landownership throughout the historical contexts of five countries. She wrote a number of preliminary reports and a final report by addressing two major research questions. Having great verbal and written communication skills, Julie was always quick to address my feedback, and as such, this supported my project to achieve and go beyond its key objectives.”

"Dr Julie Mansuy has been working with me at the University of Warwick for the past 6 six years both as a research assistant and as a research coordinator. She is an asset to any research project. She is always deeply committed to any task she works on and adopts the priorities of projects as her own, taking initiative but also responding to feedback and learning very quickly upon guidance. Julie consistently produces work of an extremely high standard. The projects she has worked on with me have included a project lasting several years about gender and access to higher education in India, and a short intensive project about conference participation for academics with caring responsibilities. With both projects she has had involvement in a wide variety of activities, from organising meetings and events to writing reports to managing complex timelines and working with students and research assistants to assist them in meeting their targets. Julie has excelled in all tasks and has also applied exceptional interpersonal skills and supported the team throughout. She is extremely professional and remains calm in challenging situations involving competing pressures and different ways of working. She has managed the transnational working of the project on India with patience, care and dedication. It is rare to find someone who is exceptional across the board and I would highly recommend Julie for any project, large or small."

"Dr Mansuy has acted as the project manager for a 5-year action research project – ‘A Fair Chance for Education: Gendered Pathways to Educational Success in Haryana’ – for which I am the Principal Investigator. This project, supported by a range of funding sources (approximately £450,000), has been a complex, interdisciplinary, cross continent project which has required consistently high levels of managerial competence. Its success, widely recognised by funders and partners, despite the pandemic, is in no small measure due to the quality of support that has been provided by Dr Mansuy. She has been our project manager from the outset and has demonstrated both commitment and loyalty to the project throughout the 5 years. Dr Mansuy managed the project budget, established and maintained good working relationships with a range of administrators locally and internationally, contributed to the hiring processes, organised numerous events and project visits, and chaired our project meetings efficiently and effectively. Dr Mansuy also managed our data systems; our website, using her knowledge of website building; and our social media accounts. Additionally, Dr Mansuy is an accomplished scholar in her own right and provided us with excellent academic support, using her experience of data collection, inputting and analysis to good effect, and contributing fully to the writing and production of our range of research outputs. She understands the importance, in a project like ours, of demonstrating the impact potential of research to policy communities. In summary Dr Mansuy has provided a range of excellent skills to our project as a highly accomplished research project manager. It has been a huge pleasure to work with her over these last years. I would never hesitate to employ her again on a project with which I was involved and would wholeheartedly recommend her to others."
